Education
I am currently studying the Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Journalism & Professional Writing at the University of South Australia. I am now in my second year, and I intend to complete the degree in 2022. I have gained numerous academic achievements. In 2016, I was awarded an Academic Merit for being in the Top 10% of the Year 11 Cohort. In 2017, upon successfully completing my SACE, I was awarded an Effort Award for General Mathematics and the Dux for Modern History. I also received a scaled score of 17.8 out of 20 for English Literary Studies and 8.8 out of 10 for Research Project. My ATAR was 90.30, which allowed me to enter my highly competitive degree.
Experience
In 2015, I was employed by a teacher to privately tutor a Year 8 student in English, History & Geography for two months. From 2016-17, I regularly met up with friends after school who were struggling with English and History, where I edited their assignments and advised them on improvements. As a tutor, I can personally relate to any frustrations or struggles that can be experienced when learning. Yet, I also have a passion for it, which I wish to transfer to anyone I tutor. Furthermore, as a University Law and Journalism student, I continue to learn and develop skills that are essential to these specific subjects, such as analysis, editing and punctuation. Overall, I strive for my clients to achieve to the best of their capabilities, and hopefully beyond that.
